Welcome Message from Dr. Aiken

Greetings Panther Nation!

I have long subscribed to the importance of a stout and robust, user-friendly school district web page. In the 21st century, by and large, this is the community’s first exposure to the District. Thus, in the spirit of delivering a high-quality experience, we welcome you to our new District website.

I have served as the Superintendent here at Central York since November. In my short time, I have found the District to be super-inviting and welcoming; all the same, this is my hope for you as well as your experience Central York School District.

As a District, we are committed to providing an excellent experience for your child. As we move forward together, I would stress and encourage the importance of communication. If you have questions or concerns, I highly encourage you to reach out to your student’s respective school.

On the heels of COVID-19, we are still determining the fallout and full impact of the past two years. We ask for your partnership as we work to close any gaps the pandemic has created for our kids. Together, we can move forward…and reimagine a brighter future for our kids.

In closing, I vehemently believe in the partnership between home and school. If we can link arms, and build bridges to see the full potential realized for ALL of our kids, Central York will continue to be a beacon of light for our county and Commonwealth at large. And, moving forward, if I can be of assistance in any way, please don’t hesitate to be in touch.

Yours in Education,
