SSE Student Wins Local Essay Contest
Congratulations to Sinking Springs Elementary student Jack Carson for earning first place in the VFW Patriot Pen Essay Contest!
This year’s theme, for students in grades 6-8, was “How Are You Showing Patriotism and Support for our Country?”
Jack received his award and scholarship during a recent VFW and Auxiliary meeting in Mount Wolf, Pennsylvania, with VFW Post 2493 Commander Roger Miller and Scholarship Chairman Angie Elfner.
