Hayshire Happenings: PTO's Positive P.O.W.E.R. 🐾

Everyone at Hayshire is grateful for ALL the things PTO does to bring joy to the school. They always show positive Hayshire P.O.W.E.R.! 

Hayshire's PTO organizes special events. Some events happen during the school day. Ridiculous Nicholas came to Hayshire. He entertained the audience with science! 

Twice a year, PTO organizes parties for classrooms. Every classroom has a Fall Festival and Friendship Day party! 

 

Before the winter break, PTO gave each child a gift. They selected a book and a bookmark. 

This year, PTO organized a school-wide Read-A-Thon! Hayshire readers surpassed their reading goal. The PTO threw a Glow Party to celebrate all the reading. 

The PTO organizes special events outside of the school day. One event was a Family Reading Night. Families came to read. There were guest readers who shared stories. There were even treats and hot cocoa. 

Every May, the PTO organizes a huge event, May Day! There are games, food trucks, a book fair, and always a lot of fun for everyone. 

 

This year, the PTO hosted a new event, Stuff-A-Mascot night. Families and staff came to make their own panther. 

 

Our PTO does many things throughout the school year. They help on Picture Day, provide meals and treats for teachers during the year, organize the Third Grade Event, help with fieldtrips, and much more...including the Memory Book!
