Hayshire Happenings: Panther P.A.W.S. 🐾
Panther P.A.W.S. stands for Positive Adults Who Support.
Panther P.A.W.S. is a group of Hayshire volunteers. They came to school for the first time on Friday, January 23rd. After an orientation, the volunteers spent quality time with children.
Some volunteers read to classrooms. Children enjoyed having a guest reader!
They worked with small groups of children to solve math problems and play reading games.
The Panther P.A.W.S. even went to the playground to play with the children. Hoop ball was a hit in first grade! Third graders played inside recess games with a P.A.W.S. volunteer.
Hayshire children and staff appreciate the time these men spent with the children and are looking forward to another visit in February!
