Hayshire Happenings: Open School '24

Open School is an opportunity for families to visit school before the start of the school year. This year, Hayshire welcomed more than 550 family members! 

Families went on a scavenger hunt to find locations around the school and on the playground. This year, there are two new pieces of equipment thanks to our Hayshire PTO and Mr. Bish! 

Children chose a school bracelet or pencil when they finished the scavenger hunt. 

They signed giant thank you cards for Mr. Bish, and Hayshire PTO for the special playground equipment. They signed a thank you note to our custodians for making the school squeaky clean. 

Books and backpacks were available for children to take. Backpacks are donated to Hayshire every year. 

Hayshire had volunteers that helped with Open School. Two high schoolers and PTO members helped make the event a huge success! Thank you, volunteers! 

We were delighted to see so many people visit Hayshire! We are ready to start the school year!
