Hayshire Happenings: Learning About Transparent, Translucent, & Opaque!  

We sorted not see through, a little bit see through, and see through materials. 

The bag was see through. Blurry tissue paper is a little see through. The thick paper was not see through. 

Mrs. Mottilla used big words. The big word for see through is transparent. The big word for kind of see through is translucent. The tricky word for not see through is opaque. 

We made sun catchers. We used blue, light pink, and pink tissue paper. We used all the colors to stick onto the sticky paper. They are beautiful. They are translucent.

They are going to be hung in the cafeteria so everyone can feel welcome. They will make them smile.
