Hayshire Happenings: Kindergarten Math 🧮

Miss Hughes' kindergarteners are mathematicians. They solve math problems and use the math vocabulary greater than, less than, and equal to.

The children work in pairs. They compare their dominoes. The person with the greater number of dots holds their domino up. The pairs do an excellent job of working together to compare the numbers on the dominoes. 

Children compare pictures. They match objects in two sets. They count each set and share true math statements using math vocabulary. 

They share their thinking with a partner. They share their thinking as a class. Hayshire kindergarteners are mathemeticians!
