Hayshire Happenings: Abstract Art 🎨

Kandinsky was a really famous artist. He created art all over the world. He got famous because everybody loved his beautiful art. He made abstract art, really good ones too. 

Abstract art is made from organic shapes. Organic shapes are random things. Geometric shapes are like squares. Organic shapes are like squiggly lines. I don’t really know how to explain it. 

After we learned about Kandinsky I got really interested in his paintings. I really love art. I wanted to make weird stuff like he did because I was really inspired. 

In class we drew organic shapes in Sharpie. Then we had to paint the insides of the shapes. So if you’ve got a circle and it’s plain, you paint the inside. Then we were supposed to do the outsides, but I didn’t have to because I liked the way it was. I liked it because it came from me and it came from my mind and I liked what I created. 

I feel really happy that I made something really cool and creative. I think I inspire other kids to make cool and beautiful art.
