SRO Honored with Spirit of Civility Award
Central York School Resource Officer and Springettsbury Township Police Department's Officer Jennifer Torkar was recently honored with the Spirit of Civility Award by Common Ground USA.
The award honors Pennsylvania community leaders whose respectful speech and teamwork build others up, breaking down barriers to solve challenges within our communities.
She was among only nine other York County community leaders to receive the recognition last month during a special ceremony at the York County Agriculture and Industrial Museum. We are #PantherProud of the difference she makes in our community and are honored to have her in our schools!
