During the May Planning Meeting, the Board of Directors and District Administration recognized Tammy Specht, a Reliance Student Transportation, LLC. Driver whose actions and care helped keep our students safe.

This past April, Tammy was driving a van during an accident that took place on Route 30 and Kenneth Road. Tammy noticed a box truck traveling at a high rate of speed, colliding with other vehicles, and was able to maneuver her van in a manner that got her and her students out of harm’s way. Following the nearby collision, Tammy shielded her student passengers from other sites of the accident and cared for them until another van arrived.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Tammy and her actions that safeguarded our students. Our thoughts continue to be with others who were involved that morning.
