Science Teachers Blast Pumpkins in Demonstration

If you happened to pass a few “mad scientists” conducting their experiments by our middle school this October, have no fear!

Science teachers Mr. Heisey, Mr. Santoro, and Mr. Sapir showed off their exploding pumpkin demonstration to students throughout the day on October 31.

The festive tradition gives them a live-look at a real world example of combustion and chemical interactions.
