CYHS Senior Earns Scholastic Writing Awards
We are #PantherProud to share that Central York Senior Sophia Murphy and her work have earned several prestigious distinctions through the Scholastic Writing Contest!
Her original script, “Mom, I’m Sorry,” was awarded a Gold Key, the highest regional honor, and was one of just five works nominated for the American Voices Award from approximately 1200 submissions.
This distinction celebrates not only Sophia’s writing excellence but the originality, voice, and creativity she puts into her work. Way to go, Sophia!
Her work will go before national judging in the months ahead.
