Tax Information

CYSD Educational Service Center

The Central York School District Real Estate Tax is mailed directly to District residents on or about July 15th of each year. Owners are responsible for forwarding bills to their mortgage companies. If you do not receive your tax notice, please contact your tax collector. 

The real estate tax is based on the assessed value of all property and buildings. This assessed value is determined by the York County Assessment and Tax Claim Office. Questions regarding your assessed value as well as mailing address changes should be directed to the York County Assessment and Tax Claim Office.

FITNESS CENTER

The Central York School District Fitness Center and Outdoor Walking Track, located at Central York High School, is available for use to all district residents, faculty, and staff during select hours. 

Residents can sign up for a membership to use the Fitness Center at a discounted rate.

GOLDEN AGE PASSES

Golden Age Passes are available to District residents ages 65 and older who are interested in attending various District events. The Golden Age Pass entitles the holder to free admission to all school-sponsored events including home athletic events, to all plays and musical productions, and all other District programs that may have an admission fee. They do not apply to PIAA playoff games.

COMMUNITY AQUATIC PROGRAMS

Central York School District is happy to hold several Community Aquatic Programs, including swimming lessons, lap swim and fitness, and recreational swim. 

Membership is required to participate in these programs, including recreational swim. All participants are required to pay the annual fee one time during the membership period.
