Summer Camps
The Central York School District is proud to offer Summer Camp programs for students of various ages throughout June through August. The programs are available at District Schools, run by Central York Faculty and Staff Members. The camps are open to ALL students who live in the District within the indicated grade level recommendations (based on 24/25 school year). Your student does not have to attend the school in which the camp is held to participate!
Most camps cost $70 per student. A complete listing of available camps, dates, and descriptions are below.

Hayshire Elementary
Basketball Camp with Mrs. Culbert
Learn the basic fundamental skills needed to be a succesful basketball player! The camp will cover layups, dribbling, passing, and more. Enjoy a great time working on skills while playing some games.

Magical Fairy Gardens with Mrs. Quimby

Things that Go Camp with Mrs. Paul
If your child loves trucks, trains, planes, and any other type of vehicle that goes then this is the summer camp for them! Spend a week exploring the wonderful world of transportation. Each day we will read a themed story, complete a craft, and participate in activities relating to all things that go in a structured environment!

In this camp, we will focus on spreading kindness in our community! We will complete fun and creative crafts that will be used to brighten the lives of people in our community. Powerlifting with Mr. Lang
Summer is the best time to learn about the sport of Powerlifting. We here at CYHS pride ourselves in putting together a state championship caliber Powerlifting team every year! This year we will have our FIRST Summer camp that focuses on learning, training, and putting you in a place to compete as part of our powerlifting team in the 2024-2025 school year. Camp is not a commitment to the team, but to learn and get an understanding of the sport. The more weeks you do, the more you will learn and progress.
