Central York School District hosts a variety of Community and Adult Education programs in the Fall and Spring. Information regarding the specific classes and registration can be found in the descriptions below.
Spring 2022 Classes
Vinyasa Yoga
In this class, foundational yoga poses will be practiced as we flow from one pose to another. Strengthening and promoting flexibility with in the body with an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement will also be practiced. All levels welcome. Must bring your own yoga mat to each class.

Getting Paid to Talk
If you’ve ever wondered how to begin in voice over, part time, full time, or for supplemental or retirement income, this workshop is a great, upbeat, and most importantly, realistic first step. Our easy-to-access remote learning system will take you behind the scenes at Voice Coaches main studios where we regularly produce voice over content for clients including Netflix, Discovery, HGTV, Disney, Lifetime, Nickelodeon, and many more. From audio books, training material, animation, and commercials to socially relevant content, television, and much, much more: today’s voice over field has become a great way to leverage your individual voice qualities and communication skills in a whole new way. This class also includes an opportunity to receive a brief one-on-one voice range and quality assessment with our instructor.
We sincerely hope you’ll join our community of enthusiastic learners! This class is fun, realistic, and a great first step for anyone interested in voice over.
About the Instructor:
For more than 30 years, our team at Voice Coaches has provided voice over production, recording, & communication coaching to clients across the US and abroad. In addition to being active in numerous industry organizations, we provide internships to college students in recording, production, and entertainment business. Voice Coaches is proud to be a 16-year Member of the Better Business Bureau.

“IT’S YOUR MOVE” - Levels of living and care options for seniors
Is it YOUR time to make the decision on your current and future living, lifestyle, and care needs? Or are you needing more help and care and have a cumbersome home to care for as well? Are you an active senior and want to streamline and enhance your living situation? We are here to discuss YOUR living options… It’s YOUR move.
With this presentation you will understand the levels of living for the 55+ generation. Providing you the knowledge of options from maintenance free independent homes to aging in place through a transition of care communities and facilities. Kristin Wolfe, a certified Senior Real Estate Specialist, and Jessica Etter, a Senior Health Care Living Advisor, have joined together decades of experience and resources. They will orient you to levels of living, local independent living homes, downsizing, moving guidance, home and healthcare services, assisted living, skilled nursing facilities, long term care and understanding the financial pieces behind it all. Kristin and Jessica advocate through education, service, and providing resources to seniors. Children of this generation find this seminar beneficial to assist in preplanning for their parents future living and care needs.

Let's Dance - Beginner Ballroom
Begin dancing together! Randi Stauffer of the Victrola Dance Hall is offering four weeks of progressive classes in 3 available sessions between February and April. Each series will serve to welcome you into the most timeless and useful Ballroom styles. (This can always be subject to student discretion and request.) Series may be taken distinctly, and a partner is not required. Total beginners and experienced beginners are encouraged to join as we learn the following in each series:
