Player Information

To improve your game, you must commit to consistent play. Make an effort to be on the court several times each week. Always play with purpose. Each time you begin to play, consider your intent. For example:

  1. Specific stroke development (forehand, backhand, volley, overhead, serve, etc.)
  2. Applying strategy (attacking the net, controlling movement, maintaining consistency, hitting balls to the backhand, identifying a weakness, drop shot & lob, etc.)
  3. Finding tough competition (play against stronger competitors)
  4. Mental toughness

Footwork: You don’t need anyone else to improve your footwork. Remember the drills from practice (Jump rope, line jumps, conditioning drills).
