Athletics
Central York High School, home of the Panthers, has a rich history of athletic success. The District's administration, staff, and community are committed to building upon that history and maintaining a high level of integrity among all of our athletic programs.
The Athletic Department's mission is to support student-athletes, encourage them to strive for continued success and assist them in building a strong sense of pride and self-esteem through participation in competitive interscholastic athletics. Student-athletes are encouraged to develop responsibility, determination, commitment to their sport, an understanding about the importance of teamwork, and an overall respect for themselves and others.
At Central York, we believe that through participation in competitive sports, our student-athletes develop the necessary skills to become well-rounded and productive members of the York community.
