2024/2025 CYBVB Tryout Information
JV Tryouts for all Freshman, Sophomores, and any 1st Year players will take place the first week of the Spring Sports season (usually this is the first or second week of March). Coaches reserve the right to bump underclassmen or first year players to varsity tryouts. Tryouts will be 2-3 days. Times & dates are TBD, and will be updated in Februrary 2025.

Varsity Tryouts for all Juniors and Seniors who are NOT first year players will take place the first week of the Spring Sports season (usually this is the first or second week of March). Tryouts will be 2-3 days. Times & dates are TBD, and will be updated in Feburary 2025.

All athletes wishing to tryout for the Central York Boys Volleyball team must have their physical completed, and the appropriate paperwork filled out via RankOne. If this is not completed, then you are NOT able to try out. 

We generally look to keep between 25-32 athletes on our roster between Varsity and JV. We are a team that makes cuts.

ATTENDING OPEN GYMS, PLAYING CLUB VOLLEYBALL AND MAKING THE CY VOLLEYBALL TEAM IN THE PAST DO NOT GUARANTEE A SPOT ON THE TEAM.
