Phone Notification System - Important Update

Our automated voice messaging provider has been purchased by a new company and we are in the process of transferring all of our contact information to the new system. We will be notifying all parents/guardians, faculty & staff of this change tonight via our existing system. We will be testing the new system on Sunday, October 26, with another call to all district parents, guardians, faculty and staff.

If you do not receive the call Sunday evening, or if you receive the call at more phone numbers than you prefer, please contact us Monday, October 27, to ensure we have your correct information on file.

Thank you for your patience as we test our new system. We appreciate your help with ensuring we know the best way to reach you in case of a weather cancellation or emergency situation.

Facilities Rentals

All requests by community groups to use Central York School District facilities, either buildings or grounds, must be made through the School Board Secretary to ensure the availability of the facility; payment of rental fees; and the necessary certificate of liability and/or waiver. Facilities will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis; school groups will be given priority over external groups.

A rental application form and schedule of charges and conditions for the use of school facilities and buildings will be provided to organizations requesting use of facilities. All requests for the use or rental of school facilities must be made on a standard Facility Rental form and received by the Superintendent at least forty-five (45) days prior to the anticipated date of use. Approval of requests at a regular Board meeting must precede any announcement or advertisement of the event.

No use or rental of school facilities will be considered until it is determined that such
use or rental does not conflict with any educational program of the district. Evidence of liability insurance coverage in the required amount with the district named as additional insured must be provided before the actual event.
