CY05 - HOLA 2 !

Continue to explore the fascinating world of Spanish! We will build on information from Hola 1 to introduce the following topics: the alphabet, seasons, weather, colors, likes & dislikes, numbers to 99, and more about time. While you learn to ask and answer questions based on the topics, an overview of some grammatical concepts will be sprinkled into our learning time. This is not designed as an immersion course. It is open to those who already know the content in Hola 1 (greetings, farewells, names, how are you?, numbers to 59, time, days, months, and expressions of courtesy.) Optional practice activities will be provided to complete between classes, some of which will be on line. Mastery will require practice. Additional courses will be added to accommodate various interests and expand communication skills. Hola 1 & 2 are recommended as prerequisites for future courses geared for more advanced conversation, and Spanish for travelers, if you’ve had no previous classes in Spanish. The cost of the course includes the materials and instruction time. Please bring a 3 ring notebook and pen.
